At 12, she officially became a published writer with a poem appearing in Girls’ Life Magazine. Her writing dreams persisted as she wrote for her middle school, high school, and college newspapers and as an occasional freelancer. In 2012, she began to explore fiction and completed the first draft of her novel, Rock of Ages, which is currently in production with Inkshares. She is the project manager for WritingBloc.com. Becca lives in California, where she plays the banjo and ukulele, practices mindfulness meditation, and hangs out with her two young children.
Linda Rhoades, Fiction Editor
After starting her day with a dog-walk, Pilates, and a four-shot latte, Linda does what so many of us do . . . dives into her Work In Progress with a mix of anticipation and dread. After earning a certificate in Fiction Writing from UC Riverside in 2010, Linda has been working on a series of novels. She is a long-term Inlandia workshop participant, has been published in their anthology, and considers it an honor to be on the Inlandia Literary Journeys editorial team. She is a member of Romance Writers of America, a national organization with over 9,000 members, and frequently volunteers to judge RWA chapter contests. A frequent attendee of writer’s conferences, she loves to spend time with her ‘tribe’ and add to her understanding of both the craft and business of being a writer.
