Tether
March 20, 2020
What matters about the weather
is the whether — Whether you will or
whether you won’t weather it well.
And what will reign? The rain or
the puddles, your foot half-
hoping the water will seep through.
Kaleidoscope droplets kiss
the strawberries’ seeded skin;
rain or shine, mine to tether.
